Here's something a little different. I'm back in school, and one of the classes that I'm required to have is 3D Design. It's kinda like Sculpture 101. Our second project consisted of the visualizing the word "Sanctuary" Mine was time. I felt like as I got older, I become a better person. One of the requirements was that we had to have a "totem", something that represented us or an idea. My friend Maggie gave me this great robot clock, so I used him. We were further limited in our materials: One 4 foot long by 6 inch wide piece of 3/4" thick lumber, one four foot long piece of 24 gauge copper wire, one four foot long 1/2" dowel, and four 1/2" eyehooks. The clock here keeps "accurate" time as well. If you were to hook up a motor to the center dowel that maintained one revolution per hour, the big gear would have two revolutions per day.
